Alverstone Russet
Alverstone Russet is approved by McDonalds for its shoestring fries and is a strong and high yielding French fry variety.
This potato has a very evenly white internal flesh colour and can be stored under lower temperatures. No wonder this variety is named after Mount Alverstone in Alaska! A large massive white mountain range.
Alverstone Russet has an excellent frying quality and is perfect for shoestring fries (3/8” - 10 mm).
