Royal HZPC, located at Edisonweg 5, 8501 XG Joure, is responsible for the processing of personal data as stated in this privacy statement. This privacy policy applies to the processing of data by the Royal HZPC. For individual group components, please refer to the annual report.
Royal HZPC values the protection of the privacy of its relations and has taken measures to ensure that the information collected is treated confidentially and securely. We see it as our responsibility to protect your privacy. On this page, we inform you about the data we collect, why we collect this data, and how we use it to improve your user experience.
In short
When processing personal data, we adhere to privacy legislation. This means that we:
- Clearly define our purposes before processing your personal data, through this privacy statement.
- Process and store as few personal data as possible and only the data necessary for our purposes.
- Explicitly ask for consent to process your personal data, if consent is required.
- Take necessary security measures to protect your personal data. We also impose these obligations on parties that process personal data for us.
- We respect your rights, such as the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data processed by us.
Purpose and basis for processing personal data
Royal HZPC processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- To contact you upon request or due to ongoing contracts;
- To enter into agreements;
- To handle payments;
- To deliver goods and services to you;
- Royal HZPC also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, such as data required for our tax return.
Personal data we process
When you use our contact form, we process the following data:
- Phone number
- Email address
- IP address
- Internet browser and device type
- Other correspondence
As a relation, you can use our products and services. For this, we process the following data:
- Organization data (name, address, registration number)
- Name of contact person
- (Business) phone number
- (Business) email address
- Invoice data
- Payment data
- Any content of other correspondence
Royal HZPC also processes data to conduct a customer survey. This happens when we deliver products to you or purchase products from you. The additional personal data we process for the customer survey are of the ultimate stakeholders or directors: The function, name, date of birth, and country of residence.
We use this data to execute the agreement we enter into with you and to maintain the relationships that arise from it. We retain this data for the duration of the agreement. We retain some data longer if we are obliged to do so (for example, due to the fiscal retention period of seven years).
Special and/or sensitive personal data we process
We do not intend to collect data about website visitors under the age of 16. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in their children's online activities to prevent data from being collected about children without parental consent. If you believe we have collected personal data about a minor without such consent, please contact us at info@hzpc.com, and we will delete this information.
Automated decision-making
This refers to decisions made by computer programs or systems without human intervention (an employee of Royal HZPC B.V.). Royal HZPC does not make decisions based on automated processing about matters that can have (significant) consequences for individuals.
How long we retain personal data
Royal HZPC does not retain your personal data longer than strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We apply the following retention periods for the following (categories of) personal data:
- Fiscal data have a legal retention period of 7 years.
- Agreements are retained for the duration of the agreement and up to 10 years after the agreement has ended.
- For the customer survey, we retain the company data as long as the agreement is in effect.
- Sometimes it is necessary to provide a partially redacted copy of your ID; We delete this as soon as possible, no later than 3 days after identification.
Sharing personal data with third parties
Royal HZPC shares your personal data with various third parties if this is necessary for the execution of the agreement and to comply with any legal obligation. With companies that process your data on our behalf, we conclude a processing agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Royal HZPC remains responsible for these processes. Additionally, Royal HZPC provides your personal data to other third parties. We do this only with your explicit consent.

Cookies or similar techniques we use
A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet, or smartphone when you first visit this website. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical operation of the website and your ease of use. They ensure that the website works properly and remember your preferences at Royal HZPC. We can also optimize our website with these cookies. Royal HZPC uses technical, functional, and analytical cookies. The analytical cookies used do not infringe on your privacy.
You can opt out of cookies by setting your internet browser to no longer store cookies. Additionally, you can also delete all information previously stored via your browser settings.
ReCaptcha
When using the contact form, a cookie from Google Inc. (Google) is used with Re-Captcha, which remembers various data to determine whether a human or an automated bot is filling out the form. The cookie checks the IP address, mouse movements, their speed, and previously installed cookies. This cookie expires after 365 days. (See also Google's Privacy Policy)

How we secure personal data
Royal HZPC takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorized modification. If you believe that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please contact your contact person or via info@hzpc.com.
We take the following security measures, among others:
- IT measures: access control on our laptops and systems, using passwords and MF2 authentication;
- Physical measures: access security, including access chips and camera security in and around our office building;
- Encryption of digital (email) files;
- Organizational measures for access security;
- Security of network connections;
- Data storage within the EU.
We work as digitally as possible: old papers are shredded, and digital documents are secured.
Your rights
You have the right to view, correct, or delete your personal data. Additionally, you have the right to withdraw your consent for data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by Royal HZPC, and you have the right to data portability. This means you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we have about you in a computer file to you or another organization specified by you.
You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data, or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data to info@hzpc.com.
To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your identity document with the request. In this copy, make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and Citizen Service Number (BSN) black. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks. However, this period may be extended if the complexity of your request requires it.
